Compliance
PreFlight — Deterministic Upstream Data Ingestion Gate
Compliance Scope
This page defines operational boundary conditions of the PreFlight v1.01 enforcement system.
Compliance reflects system-level evaluation behavior only. It is not certification, attestation, or validation against external regulatory frameworks.
Scope applies exclusively to enforcement behavior.
Hosted infrastructure, deployment environments, and operational governance remain outside the v1.01 boundary.
Operational Boundary
PreFlight evaluates mechanically provable ingestion safety prior to downstream processing.
The system:
- Issues deterministic ingestion verdicts
- Performs read-only evaluation
- Performs no data mutation
- Operates upstream of storage, analytics, and model systems
It does not:
- Transform datasets
- Interpret semantic meaning
- Score data quality
- Perform workflow logic
- Orchestrate downstream systems
Operational scope is limited to ingestion enforcement.
Data Handling Characteristics
- Dataset content is not modified
- No enrichment or normalization occurs
- System evaluation does not require network access within engine scope
- Evaluation remains isolated within its system context
Evaluation Characteristics
- Evaluation order is constant
- Verdict reduction is mechanical
- Identical inputs yield identical outcomes
- No probabilistic constructs
- No adaptive logic
Behavior reflects deterministic evaluation — not governance or orchestration.
Security Boundary
- No dynamic code evaluation
- No interactive system surface
- No persistent service layer defined within enforcement scope
- No embedded evaluation inside downstream systems
Security characteristics apply to enforcement system behavior only.
Responsibility Model
- Ingestion decisions remain external
- Dataset correction remains external
- Workflow processing remains external
- Operational ownership remains external
Compliance defines boundary conditions — not downstream governance responsibilities.
